Greenwich Village
Greenwich Village or simply called “The Village”, is located in the West side of downtown Manhattan. The Village includes the primary campus for New York University, and Washington Square Park which is in the center and is the heart of the village. The Village offers a performing arts scene, including the Blue Man Group, who performs at the Astor Place Theater. The Village Vanguard hosts the biggest names in jazz on a regular basis and each year on October 31st the Village has their festive Halloween Parade.
